Are you willing to do whatever it takes to be learning from the best?

Some days you might be taking notes at a meeting, other days you’ll be photocopying scripts, reading treatments, delivering mail; and yes, you might even have to make coffee… but… you’ll also gain an invaluable insight into some of the greatest minds in Hollywood.

Imagenation Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Film Commission have created an incredible opportunity for motivated and talented UAE Nationals, men and women, with a passion for filmmaking, to gain hands-on experience.

Are you interested in the day-to-day business side of film making? Do you want to learn more about development, production, distribution, sales and marketing? Do you want to learn how to package a movie, find the right cast, and learn more about film financing? Then you’ll be the right candidate for our fast paced in-office internship with joint venture partners Participant Media (Los Angeles), Hyde Park Entertainment (Los Angeles) and National Geographic Films (Los Angeles and New York City). This program will also include theoretical filmmaking seminars with leading film institutions in LA.

Or are you the creative and hands-on type who is more into learning about the various aspects of on-set production such as line-producing, directing, camera work, costume design, make-up artistry, production design, technical field work (grip/electric), etc? Then you are better suited for the on-set internships which will send you to an intensive film set to either locations in the United States or India.

In-office internships start as early as September, while on-set internships are contingent upon production schedules, though also no earlier than September.

Candidates must be Emirati and have recently graduated from a business, film or broadcast program, or are young professionals in the media or emerging media space. All offices and sets are English-speaking work environments.

Applicants will receive accommodation and living allowance during their internship as well as return economy airfare.
